Burglary Arrest – Keith Stevens 19 yr old male – Bangor PA
On 7/24/2015, SBRPD arrested and charged Stevens with 5 counts of Burglary, 7 counts of Receiving Stolen Property, 5 counts of Theft from Motor Vehicles for the several burglaries and thefts from vehicles in the Dotta Development in Plainfield Twp. Overnight residential burglaries and thefts occurred between June 26th and July 17th. After the arrest, Stevens was arraigned in front of District Magistrate Schlegel and placed in the Northampton County Prison on $30,000 / 10% bail and a probation violation detainer.
Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle – 17 yr male old JUVENILE – Wind Gap PA
On 7/26/2015 at 11:15pm, SBRPD arrested a 17 year old male from Wind Gap after receiving a report that he had taken a family member’s vehicle without permission. Officers located the juvenile on the 1000 block of Constitution Avenue and stopped the juvenile inside the vehicle. He was then taken into custody and later released. Police filed a Juvenile Allegation against the male for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Driving with a Suspended License.
Possession of Synthetic Marijuana – Eric Kirkland 27 yr old male – Roosevelt St., Wind Gap
On July 13th at approximately 1:00pm, SBRPD responded to a report of suspicious activity at the Wind Gap Park on 3rd St. Police made contact with Kirkland and a second male inside the park. During the investigation, police found that Kirkland was in possession of synthetic marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Kirkland was brought to HQ for questioning and later released. Charges were filed at District Magistrate Schlegel’s office in Wind Gap for Possession of Synthetic Marijuana and Possession of Paraphernalia.
Burglary – 200 Block of South Broadway, Wind Gap
SBRPD is investigating a reported burglary in the 200 block of S. Broadway in Wind Gap. The resident reported that on July 26th between 5:30pm and midnight, someone entered the residence and stole a black Sony Playstation 4 gaming console and 4 video games.
