The Officials of Plainfield Township and the Boroughs of Pen Argyl and Wind Gap have a vision for a more efficient and effective delivery of police service to their communities. The elected officials understand the complexity of police work and the need for a higher level of proficiency in the field. Presently spanning over 27 square miles, the Slate Belt Regional Police Department operates a 24 hour, full time police department providing police coverage as well as a range of public services. By combining the original three police departments, these communities realize a greater opportunity for consistency of police service, increased opportunities for supervision and training, increased accountability and decreased cost overall.
As the Chief of Police, I am honored to work with the dedicated officers and staff of the department and with the staff of those municipalities for which we serve. I look forward to providing exceptional police service, taking part in our community and serving the residents of our jurisdiction.
